Career Seekers Frequently Asked Questions

What does All's Well's Services cost?

All's Well's services are completely free to you, the candidate.

How does All's Well make money?

The companies you go to work for pay All's Well for our services.

If companies have to pay you, doesn't that mean I could make more money on my own?

No. The money All's Well makes doesn't come out of your salary. It comes out of the other costs employers face when hiring. Costs such as Advertising and Recruitment, Workers Compensation Insurance, the Employer Contribution to Social Security, Lost Time Interviewing and Reviewing Resumes. Over and above what an employer pays the employee, it actually costs anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 to hire somebody. Because of our economies of scale, All's Well can do these things cheaper and more efficiently than an employer and they pay us for the money and time we save them.

In fact, it has been our experience that you would make less money on your own because our professional Account Executives act as your agent to negotiate the highest level of pay possible.

Aren't all employment services the same?

No. All's Well is very different. We are one of the few services who can offer you both direct-hire and temporary placements. More than that, we are the only service that understands that you are every bit as important as employer companies to our success. Because it is the employer company that pays for an employment agency's services, most agencies view them as the client. If you've been to other employment services then the poor way they treated you starts to make sense once you understand how they actually see you.

At All's Well, we know that that is absolutely wrong. You are a unique individual, and satisfying your needs is just as important as satisfying the needs of the companies that pay us. Our goal is to keep you as a client for life, and as a client, we treat you with the respect you deserve.

What kinds of jobs are available?

We place hundreds of candidates every week, and naturally some of our employer companies do have currently open positions that we are attempting to fill. However, that's not the end of our service to you. After all, you are also one of our clients, and you probably have a dream job that you would like to find. Once we understand what your needs are, we will go out and attempt to find or create a situation in which those needs will be satisfied. This is what makes us different from any of the other services out there.

How much will I make?

That depends on a wide number of factors including what you want to do, how marketable your skills are, the region of the country you live in and any number of other unique variables. Your local Account Executive can help you evaluate your earning potential more thoroughly.

How do I get paid?

That depends on the type of placement. If you are hired by one of our employer companies in a direct-hire position, you get your paychecks and benefits from them just like anybody else.

If you go out on a temporary assignment, then you are on the All's Well payroll. We have weekly paydays, which means that for extended assignments you can expect to get a check every Friday. You may stop by the branch office where you registered to pick up your check, or instruct us to mail it to you.

What if I want the freedom temporary assignments afford, but I need benefits?

All's Well provides its Temporary Associates with a complete menu of benefits including:

  • Medical Plan
  • Dental Plan
  • Vision Plan
  • Credit Union
  • 401(k)
  • Bonus Programs
  • Associate of the Month - An honor that can earn you extra cash and recognition!
  • "The Beat" - A newsletter filled with current news and helpful hints
  • Computer Training offered in a variety of computer software programs with tuition reimbursement
  • Bonuses and Incentive Programs
  • Referral Bonuses
  • Weekly Paydays
  • You will have to meet some standard eligibility requirements. Ask your Account Executive about regional specifics.

How can I get started as an All's Well associate?

You can begin right now. The first step is to post a resume. After that, give us a call to arrange a time for a complete career needs evaluation. This is a very thorough process, so you should expect to spend about two hours with your Account Executive. If you can't free up that large a block of time, let your Account Executive know. He can try to work around your schedule or arrange multiple appointments, allowing you to spread the process out over several days.

What differentiates All's Well from your competition?

All's Well's commitment is to provide solutions for today's health care companies facing the challenges of cost-effectively managing a workforce while maintaining a high level of productivity. We conduct business with the highest standards of integrity--resulting in "clients for life," the paramount philosophy of our founder, Bernard Howroyd. By tailoring out programs to meet the individual staffing needs of each client company, and by helping our valued associates achieve their career objectives, we nurture long-term partnerships built upon decades of human resource experience and quality service.

How much does your service cost?

All's Well's services are priced very competitively in relation to the market. In fact, most employers find that it is less expensive to work with All's Well than to seek to hire a quality individual by more traditional means. Due to the high degree of customization inherent in the services All's Well provides for you, it is impossible to know in advance what costs will apply specifically to your situation.

What is All's Well's new hire procedure and how do you screen candidates?

All's Well has an intensive screening and evaluation procedure that all candidates must undergo before they are considered associates. All candidates are interviewed, screened and tested, and we require at least two positive work-related references. To further ensure a candidate's viability, there are optional background and drug screening procedures available for our clients.

What benefits are available for your temporary employees?

Associates have access to a host of benefits to cover medical, dental and vision care. In addition, a 401(k) investment option grants our associates a practical solution to retirement planning. By offering a variety of employee benefits, we develop and maintain a stronger relationship with our associates. In this manner, we keep our associates protected and contented--reducing turnover and increasing quality.

How long will it take All's Well to find quality professionals once an order is placed?

Our staffing professionals respond to job order requests in a timely manner. For most orders, we provide progress reports every 30 minutes until a qualified All's Well associate is confirmed with your company. For more elaborate orders, or when there are unique requests for certain skill sets, rest assured All's Well will provide the personnel your company seeks in a suitable time frame.

Furthermore, All's Well assures a 100% fill ratio for all of our clients' orders. If necessary, we will utilize one of our alternate vendor relationships to assist in finding the most qualified associate.

What is All's Well's procedure when an associate does not work out?

As each new assignment gets underway, our Account Executive contacts the appropriate supervisor to make sure that the temporary associate's work performance is satisfactory. If an associate proves unsatisfactory for any reason, the employee will be replaced. Provided you notify All's Well within the first day of assignment, there will be no charge for the day. We will also discuss appropriate credit whenever an associate's work is unacceptable according to your performance standards.

How does All's Well handle requests for skill sets not held by associates in the database?

Why should I use a service like All's Well instead of just running an ad in the paper or on the Internet?

When you're ready to hire, All's Well makes it simple, fast and affordable. Just a few of the reasons companies pick All's Well:

Get the Best Person for the Job

Chances are, the best person for your position isn't reading newspaper ads. They made the same choice you're about to make - delegating the details of a job search to us while continuing to expend their valuable energies on building profit for their current employer. Most people hired through newspaper ads stay with their employer for less than one year.

Save Time

All's Well saves you time by filtering your applicant pool for you. Additionally, we have a full menu of customizable options from which you may choose.

I think I would feel more comfortable working with a woman (or a man, or somebody of a particular age or ethnic background). Will you search for somebody matching those criteria.

All's Well is an equal opportunity employer, and we will not eliminate somebody from consideration for any position based upon gender, age or ethnic background.

What kind of screening processes do you do with the people you will be presenting to me?

In-depth interviews, Injury and Illness Prevention Programs, and Reference Checks all play major roles in ensuring quality in every placement.

Tell me more about your background checks. What is involved in that?
